In this video I use acrylic paints to work with the abstract squeegee technique. This time only black, the metallic colour pewter and a dark red, crimson, appear in my acrylic painting. The colours used are translucent, semiopaque and opaque. During the squeegeeing process I find out that a larger canvas would be much better suited for this idea with the acrylic colours. The squeegee technique made popular by Gerhard Richter, which he paints with oil colours, I thereby interpret in my own way with pasty acrylic colours.
