How to paint an abstract with acrylic paint. Easy, bright and colourful abstract painting tutorial. I painted the background with red, orange, yellow and white acrylic paint applied with a flat paintbrush. Once it was dry I drew on a square spiral design with a white charcoal pencil. I shaded the abstract painting with dark red acrylic paint applied with a dampened angled paintbrush. I shade the abstract with light yellow and white acrylic paint.
