This video demonstrates some of the drills used in a pool protocol developed by Shannon Singletary, PT, ATC, at the University of Mississippi. The University of Mississippi facility features a HydroWorx treadmill pool and ThermalPlunge pool. Thanks to the combination of an underwater environment and a treadmill, this athlete can work on her gait earlier than she would be able to on land. This HydroWorx pool also includes an inpool camera that allows Shannon to monitor the athlete's movements and offer accurate feedback. Throughout aquatic therapy, the athlete also performed stretches in a heated ThermalPlunge pool to promote flexion restoration.
