The Nozomi is the fastest and most frequent service on the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen. In the peak hours, trains depart Tokyo Station every few minutes for ShinOsaka, and trains destined for Hakata Station over 1000 km away depart as much as four times per hour.
