Two pushback machines are in use at Frankfurt Airport. With an output of 165 kWh and 100% green electricity, the huge tractor easily tows a Boeing 777, says Achim Kahl. He is a team leader and tractor driver. Right in the middle accompanied him on his electrical assignments.

Parking chaos in front of the terminal. Honking, car drivers cursing – vacationers, business people, people picking people up and taxi drivers arguing almost every day in the shortterm parking spaces in front of Terminal 1. Eduard Kapp from Airport Traffic Control tries to smooth things over every time. An almost endless task. Traffic jams, accidents, illegal parking – every day he has to convince drivers on site to follow the rules. Very few are considerate. The result: long traffic jams. More than 100 cameras monitor multistorey car parks, parking lots and the streets around the airport. The employees in the traffic center see the madness every day and somehow try to keep the traffic flowing. In the middle was a day in the middle.
