Upon entering the National Air and Space Museum's Restoration Hanger, Adam made a BEELINE for the LincolnStandard H.S. Modified Standard J1 aircraft that was JUST inside the entrance. Nelson Blankenship, Preservation & Restoration Unit Chief, explains how he and his team are completely restoring this historic (and extraordinary) aircraft, which flew from 1918 until 1964!
