This week is all about spicing up your single note lines by adding chordal moves to them. This is a bit of a preview for a larger series of deep dives I'm working on to show you guys how to practice this kind of approach to improvisation.

This week, I'll show you guys two phrases you can use over a iiiVIiiV chord progression. First, we'll go over the language as a single note line. Then, I'll break down how and where you can add harmonic options to them, and then I'll show you what it sounds like when you put everything together.

Patrons and Members get access to an additional 6 chordal phrases this week! Make sure you keep it locked here for the next few videos. We're gonna talk a lot about comping specifically how to comp for yourself as well as a whole myriad of other topics related to playing in a more polyphonic way when we're improvising.
