I'm playing the violin for exactly 2 years now, so I collected clips from day 1 until today and I made this 2 year progress video.

I always wanted to play the violin, but I thought I was too old to learn and that you needed to have some special talent to be able to learn this. Well, luckily I found out that's all nonsense. You don't learn this with talent, you learn this through hard work.

I've had weekly violin lessons ever since the start and I practice about 12 hours a day, 45 days a week. Besides my daily technical exercises, I tried to play my favorite songs, had a go at making a few music videos, met a pianist friend to play duets with, played on stage during recitals and concerts and I did some collabs with other musicians from around the world. Last but not least, I passsed my "grade A" exams in music (both theoritical and practical). I don't think I've ever learned so much in my entire life!

I hope this video is insightful and gives you a clear and realistic view on the process of learning to play the violin.
