The performance of HIP kernels is a complex multidimensional optimisation problem. It depends not only on efficient utilisation of hardware threads in compute units, but also on the timeliness and speed that memory is passed in and out of compute units. In the following videos we will explore a number of strategies that make a difference to kernel performance.
