On this second episode — Day 2, …after picking up our AdventureVan from the Outdoorsy host in Las Vegas, NV , driving north on I15 into the northwest corner of Arizona to camp in an improved BLM drycamp near Littlefield, AZ on the Virgin River; we continue into the beauthiful stae of Utah.

The "AdventureVan lesson" we learned was to not run the AC on fullblast and expect the onboard batterries to last! No problem…we just opened the window and let the cool desert night breeze blow in !

After getting coffee in St.George, Utah, we drive to Parowan, Utah to try the “west best cinnamon rolls!”
This detour did not disappoint and yes….the cinnamon rolls were GREAT !

We continue on our journey by make a sharp eastward turn and drive through the high desert, arriving at Kodachrome Basin State Park.
After some hiking in Kodachrome, we drive down a rough dirt road to Grosvenor Arch National monument in EscalenteGrand Staircase.

We then return back to Kodachrome State Park to site by the evening fire, discussing this day’s adventure and what is to come on the third day.
Truly, a lovely day indeed on this episode of “Adventure Date Utah!”

Stay tuned….! We travel to Bryce Canyon on day 3 …and wow… we are astonished at the natural beauty!

SPOILER ALERT The highlight of trip is that we get the opportunity to hike Angels Landing, one of the most dangerous treks in the USA. So dangerous that the National Park Service has to limit the quantity of people that do it to keep people from falling 1,000s of feet to their demise !
