SCARLET (burgundy) in the Bible represents blood and redemption. The life of man is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and Christ’s blood atonement is necessary for the redemption of man.
WHITE (fine linen) represents righteousness because of it’s purity of colour and light. It points to the Righteous One and the righteousness He imputes to all who come to Him in faith.
