Advice for Older Backpackers

This quote by Clint Eastwood cuts deep for a lot of older backpackers. It boils down the most important attitude one needs to cultivate if he or she wishes to continue backpacking as an older person. Please let me know your advice to keeping the old man or the old woman out.
