Many years ago I explored the options for flying the 'Impossible Turn' in the Aeronca C3; I practice 180 degree turnbacks regularly, along with glide approaches and sideslipping. The turn procedure itself is very straightforward but the subject is often debated. I do what is best for me; this film is only offered as food for thought.
