The Supreme Court has banned colleges from using race as criteria for admissions. Essentially ending the 50year run of affirmative action programs.

California banned public colleges like Berkeley and UCLA from using race in their admissions in the 1990s. Since then, a large study measuring the academic success and earnings of students before and after the ban has shown what effects “raceneutral” admissions policies have on minority students.
