In this video, we will discuss Who can apply for AIP Program in Canada, Eligibility Criteria, Required Documents, How to Apply PR through AIP Program, and the related Permanent Residency application Cost. To give you a quick summary, International students who gradated from one of the 4 Atlantic Provinces and Skilled workers from Inside & outside Canada (both) can apply for PR through Atlantic immigration program. For Skilled workers, you will have to show work experience related to your Job Offer NOC/ TEER Category job description. Whereas, For International students, they are exempt from the Work experience requirement if they graduated from one of the 4 Atlantic provinces i.e., New Brunswick, New Found land & Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. For both the eligible categories, you will have to find a Valid Fulltime Job Offer from any employer in Atlantic province. The job must be Fulltime, NonSeasonal, Must have end date of 1 year after receiving Canada PR, must not be selfemployed or employed by your spouse or common law partner, etc. You will also need Language Test results (IELTS of Min CLB 5 score) and the test results must be less than 5 years old. You will need a Education Credential Assessment if you education is from outside of Canada like WES to show your education equivalence to Canadian education system. You will also need to prepare a Settlement plan with a Settlement Plan service provide which is a free plan and will highlight how you plan to settle in the Atlantic province. The most important document is the Certificate of Endorsement from your employer that will show that your employer has endorsed your job offer and is offering support in getting your Canadian Permanent Residency. Once all the document are complied, You can create your Permanent Residency Online Application Portal and refer to the Instruction guide for detailed information. You will need to upload the basic IMM Forms like AIP Application Form, Family background information, Supplementary Travel Information, etc. You employer will also fill a form on your behalf on Offer on Employment to a Foreign National in Atlantic Province. After completing the forms, you can check your Photo specifications and can pay your application fees to submit PR application. The Fees for PR Application is around $1575 for AIP Program + $950 for Right to Permanent Residency Fee + $85 for Biometrics. Overall, the total cost of PR through AIP process will cost you around $25002600. Additionally, you can also apply for a 2 year Temporary Work Permit until you get your PR approved under AIP program.
