Longxiang Flight Campground to Longxiang Flight Campground 2022 July 22 (16 minutes flight time)

A flight in the back seat of this ultralight trike built by Australia's AirBorne Windsports. The short flight started in a grass field in a village in Changxing County and provided views of this large lake, Taihu, which straddles the border between Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces. This aerial tour of Huzhou took us over residential areas, villages, and farmland with the highlight being passing over the donutshaped Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort and adjacent traditional boats. The flight ended with a fun, tight approach into the field and a smooth landing. Note the transmission tower on the extended centerline of the runway passing us on our right just before landing.
