Good chance that it could have been an Airbus A340, also known as the “hairdryer” nicknamed after its engine cone shapes like a hairdryer. The Airbus A340 is a much beloved aircraft in aviation. This footage was taken at different airports around the world. The Airbus A340 made its first flight in 1991. The shortest of the A340 variants is the A340200 measures 59.4 m (195 ft), and can cover 12,400 km / 6,700 nmi with 210250 seats in 3class. The most common of the A340s, the A340300 can reach 63.7 m (209 ft) to accommodate 250290 passengers and has a 13,500 km / 7,300 nmi range. The A340500 is 67.9 m (223 ft) long to seat 270–310 over 16,670 km / 9,000 nmi, the longestrange airliner at the time. The longest A340600 is stretched to 75.4 m (247 ft), then the longest airliner until the Boeing 7478 was made. The Airbus A340600 can accommodate up to 320370 passengers over 14,450 km / 7,800 nmi. The A340 was designed next to the more successful Airbus A330. "Only" 377 A340 were delivered. Unfortunately for aviation enthusiasts airlines are now rapidly phasing out the Airbus A340 as is it not as fuel efficient as twin engined aircraft, and costs more in maintenance.
