The Airspeed Envoy, a development of the Airspeed Courier, first flew in June 1934. 52 were built in England and a further 11 in Japan; it was an successful design, being the first multi engined aircraft with retractable undercarriage in UK production. Link to 1939 ‘Q Planes’ film below.
