his picture, taken in 1971, shows the opening of Route 49 and the National Railway Tadami Line. These are two of the most important transportation facilities in the Aizu area.
The maintenance of the underpass in front of Aizu Wakamatsu Station, the largest underpass in the Tohoku area when it was constructed, is shown in the other photo.
Other two photos contain, respectively, the city funeral for the former Mayor Takeshi Yokoyama, an instrumental figure in the rebuilding of Tsuruga Castle, and the image of the 11th Mother Convention.

この映像は昭和46年に作られたもので、会津地方の重要な交通機関である、国道49号や国鉄只見線開通の様子が映っています。
また、会津若松駅前の地下道の整備の様子も映っており、駅前地下道は当時東北で最大規模だったそうです。
そのほか、鶴ヶ城の再建に尽力された横山武元市長の市葬や第11回母親大会の様子が映っています。
