Akemie’s Taiko is a complete FM synthesis based drum voice with a massive range of sounds, shaped under both direct and voltage control. Based on the larger Akemie’s Castle, the Taiko’s simplified control scheme centers on key FM parameters that are grouped rather than separated for each operator. This arrangement, as well as the inclusion of 2 drumoriented release envelopes makes the Taiko a fun and immediate source of unique percussive and melodic timbres.
