Effect:

A spectator, John, rolls an imaginary die and decides the result is 3. He then consults an article of his choice on Wikipedia, for example The Beatles. He notices there are links to other pages, such as Liverpool, Rock, John Lennon, Album, etc... He clicks on a link, which takes him to a new article, for example Liverpool. From there, he continues clicking on links to go from article to article.
His choices are noted on a conference board (flip chart) or a notepad. For example:

ADJECTIVE
GEOMETRY
SPHERE
MINING

The magician reminds the spectator of the initially chosen number (here 3). He then circles the 3rd letter of each word, to reveal JOHN.

Reveal the name of a company from several words chosen by different collaborators. It's the perfect effect! TRUE

Visual effect
Visual effects are always more memorable for spectators, but are unfortunately rare in mentalism. The final image of Akronym alone tells the story of the trick and its impossibility.
