Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is famous for the largest tidal glaciers in the world. Denali National Park (Mt. McKinley) is an important terrestrial tourist attraction. Is the highest mountain peak in North America 20.310 feet (6.190 m). The landscape is dominated by massive peaks, glacial rivers, tundra. Here you can see wild animals such as caribou, moose, grizzly bears, Dall sheep and wolves.
Katmai National Park is one of the best places in Alaska to see brown bears fishing for salmon. The park has the largest protected population of brown bears in North America. During the salmon hunt, along the river and at the waterfalls (Brooks River Falls), you can see up to 50 bears fishing.
Knik Glacier (Chugach Mountains) his blue ice has appeared in films such as Star Trek V and Avalanche.
