Description: Landing at SeaTac on a beautiful summer evening, with very few clouds in the sky. We came in from the southeast, turning right to head north once we were past the mountains. A few minutes later, we made a Uturn to the left to head south towards the airport. Our final approach was very scenic and gave us great views of the whole city, including the University of Washington campus and Lake Union, downtown Seattle, Puget Sound, the port, and Lumen Field and TMobile Park. It was also just dark enough to see the flashing of the pulse landing lights reflecting on the engine, which is a unique feature that Alaska uses on their 737s. We touched down onto Runway 16R and slowed down quickly, with a lot of braking and reverse thrust, in order to exit the runway on the first high speed taxiway, which was closest to our gate. It took a few minutes for us to make our way across the other two runways before taxiing in to our gate on the North Satellite Concourse.
