Portraits are not Andy's main artistic output but he does enjoy capturing characters every now and then. In this film Andy produces a graphite portrait of the well known guidebook writer Alfred Wainwright. All the stages of the work are shown. The drawing measures 24cm x27cm and took about 3 hours in total to complete. It was done as a challenge for Andy and not as a commission or for commercial gain.
