Algebra 36 - Solving Systems of Equations by Substitution

MyWhyU

A system of two equations in x and y can be solved by rearranging one equation to represent x in terms of y, and then substituting this expression for x into the other equation to create an equation with only the variable y. This equation can then be solved to find y's value which can then be substituted back into either equation to find the value of x.
