Alicante (Alacant) is located in the southeast of Spain, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Alicante is the capital of Alicante Province, but also a port on the Costa Blanca in Spain.

Enjoy this walking tour starting in the streets of old town, in the morning, and explore the lovely street Carrer de Las Setas (Mushrooms Street). Then continue to beautiful promenade Esplanada d'Espanya. Tiled promenade has a fabulous wavy pattern with interesting optical illusion effect.

In the afternoon explore Santa Barbara Castle and its surrounding areas Barrio Santa Cruz and Parc de l'Ereta.

Parc de l'Ereta offers lots of beautiful views and an abundant flora, it is a great place to sit and relax and take in the views of the city.

Barrio Santa Cruz as historic neighbourhood is one of the city's hidden gems, offering visitors a glimpse into the past with its winding cobblestone streets, vibrant coloured houses, and charming squares.
