The previous "A Quiet Place" films mainly revolved around the fate of the Abbott family and their survival in a postapocalyptic world. The prequel "Day One" focuses on a different time: the moment of the alien invasion. This is a clear departure from the previous postapocalyptic scenario it is more about the downfall of humanity as we know it.
