We have outstayed our welcome in Europe. After fifty years, Brexit has stripped us of our right to live anywhere in Europe for as long as we want and we now can only, legally, stay for 90 days out of every 180. However, there is a way to get around this…
If we register as residents of Spain, we can stay in Spain for as long as we wish, and as a bonus, we can visit other member European states too with the only restriction being that we cannot be out of Spain for more than six months of the year – and that ticks all of our boxes!
So, what’s the process for registering? Not as simple as you might think…
