In 2013, at age 18, Alisha took just 3 pills of ciprofloxacin as prescribed for a simple UTI. After her third pill, she experienced a frightening reaction which would change the course of her life over the next 7 years.

Alisha has made major strides of recovery in achieving wellness. With patience and hard work, Alisha has improved her memory and overall health using holistic approaches such as diet and acupuncture. Although her memory is not the same and she still has visual disturbances (floaters), she has come a long way since her initial injury. Her message to others is to never give up and always remain optimistic for improvement.
