About Subnautica:

Subnautica is an open world survival game in development by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.
Subnautica allows the player to explore an aquatic alien planet by scuba diving and traveling in ,
while collecting resources and food to survive. It was released on Steam Early Access on December 16, 2014.
The Xbox release was in August 2016.

The player controls in firstperson view the lone survivor of a crashed ship on an aquatic planet.
The main objective of the player is to explore the open world environment and survive the dangers of the planet, while also continuing the story.
Subnautica allows the player to collect resources, construct tools, bases, and submersibles, and interact with the planet's wildlife.
Players must keep themselves adequately hydrated and fed, and must also maintain their oxygen supply while traversing underwater.
The game also includes a day and night cycle.

Subnautica was released on Steam Early Access on December 16, 2014.
Subnautica was originally planned to be released on Xbox One on April 1, 2016, but was ultimately delayed by another month.

Full V1.0 release was on January 23, 2018.
An expansion (Below Zero) is being worked on and it is planned to be released in late 2020. it will include new vehicles, biomes and creatures, more leviathans and the surface will play a much more important role than in the base game.

About Subnautica Below Zero:
Below Zero is the follow up game to Subnautica and is set a year after the events of the original game. This time the main Character, Robin Godall is searching for her sister who was declared dead after working for Alterra on Planet4546b.
Below Zero features new enemies, leviathans like the Shadow Leviathan or Chelicerate, vehicles like the Sea Truck, buildables like large rooms and jukeboxes and much more!
More parts of the game are now set on the icey landscape of the pole of Planet4546b, but not even here are you safe from the massive Ice Worms and freezing temperatures.
Later in the story, an Architect called AlAn will be introduced and will require the players help to survive and carry on the Precursor's legacy.

Some new creatures are: The Snowstalker, the Glow Whale, the Chelicerate, Ice Worms, Alien Penguins, Rockpunchers, the Shadow Leviathan and more.

The Kharaa Bacterium also seems to make a return. Will you save the galaxy from being infected?
