How do the different LOTUS Trumpet models perform when played with a really shallow LEAD cup, like the XS2?
In order from brightest to warmest sounding:
1) Classic Our brightest and most traditional sounding allround trumpet
2) Universal Same geometry as the Classic but with a warmer sound signature
3) Solo Wider final bell diameter with a larger and richer sound overall
4) Silver Flare Our large bell shape with a really sweet, yet still brilliant tone
5) Solo MAX The biggest and richest sounding trumpet on our menu
If you use a shallow mouthpiece, all of the trumpets on our menu offer plenty of shine and brightness. You can get fire from the larger bell models too, but you’ll get a wider sound and more of it.
The question is, which sound signature do you like the most, and which model will serve you the best in your playing?
