This video describes the troubleshooting and repair of an ( Almost dead ) Allied AX190 Amateur Radio receiver. If you get one of these radios , inspect solder joints as many were found defective on this unit. Correction : At 21:52 in the video during the circuit description I stated that L4, L5, and L6 were switched in to lower the tuned frequency. This is incorrect. Adding the increased inductance in parallel decreases the total inductance which increases the resonant frequency. Sorry for the error.
