These Italian Almond Biscottis or cookies or biscuits are so crunchy and a perfect and awesome treat .They get their crispness from being baked twice.
This recipe gets done in just a few minutes. Biscotti is perfect with your morning coffee. It is also enjoyed with Vinho Santo.
The biscotti can also be made by adding cranberries, a drizzle of chocolate or anything else to make the biscotti your own.
Ingredients:
195g Plain Flour + for dusting later
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Lemon Zest
1 tsp Orange Zest
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
75g Granulated Sugar
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
60g Almonds
1tbsp Milk or Egg for egg wash
