ALZRC X380 vibration problems. Changed all the tail and lower plate bearings, can now spool up and vibration levels are tolerable but still to high.
Original plastic belt rollers where out of round, bought the upgrade cnc rollers but the bearings are sloppy loose, also measuring the roller pin it’s only 2.38mm it’s sloppy as in the 2.5mm bearing bore. Basically the rollers are moving around against the belt and creating vibration in the belt drive tail tube. Going to make new pins that are firm in the bearings and glue the bearings in the rollers. I suspect thought the bearings are also poor quality like all the rest 2.5x7x2.5 is not overly easy to find. I have gen MSH protos belt rollers ordered with decent bearings and pins but have to come from the US which is proving slow…. So I’m make anew set of pins to see if I can get some of the slop out of the roller assembly
