Here is a spectacular landing / approach and take off to and from Washington DC’s Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

I took the United Airlines Airbus A320 flight from Chicago O’hare International Airport to DCA and flew Delta Airlines Airbus A320 from Washington DC (DCA) to Atlanta. From this video, you get a glimpse of one of my favorite US City which is Washington DC. Some sights including Washington Monument, The National Mall, Lincoln Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, The White House, Federal Triangle and more.

Approaching Washington National Airport, we used Runway 19 where you can see the main attractions of Washington DC. I was also surprised that our departure is from the opposite side Runway 1 where we get to see again downtown Washington DC and the federal buildings and monuments.

There are 3 airports serving Washington DC. Most international flights arrive at Washington Dulles Internaitonal Airport, hub for United. Another airport which is quite far and located in Baltimore, Maryland. I prefer the Washington National Airport because it’s like 1020 minutes only to reach the downtown area via Metro.
