The anticipated departure of a Royal Canadian Air Force C17 drew large crowds from far and wide (Manchester, really) at Leeds Bradford Airport on Sunday 13th as spotters eagerly awaited the moment when the military jet would finally emerge from behind the terminal.

Finally, after a delay of around 3 hours, it pushed back, only to stop for another 20 or so as they refuelled. It then departed, to the delight of the parents, who were already complaining about their kids not being able to do their homework for Monday morning! After another 50 miles, a Spicy Veggie Deluxe and a tea, I finally made it home from a chilly Yeadon to upload this video!
