Rolling onto the next flight report for this summer, my connecting flight from Dallas to Chicago onboard the amazing Boeing 7879. If you're confused about the thumbnail, yes this is technically American's newest widebody aircraft however it's not really "new" anymore as American have had the 7879 for over four years. This was my fifth ever flight on a 787 and my second specifically on the 7879, my first (ironically enough) being the reverse of this route from Chicago to Dallas which left out of the very same gate we arrived into...K13! I took this flight specifically to fly the 789 again and needless to say, I enjoyed the experience very much. Despite a slightly delayed departure and some cleanliness issues of my seat, the amazing crew and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING arrival into Chicago made up for those. I really hope you'll enjoy this video just as much as I enjoyed making it!

What is a "PREFERRED" SEAT: As mentioned in the video, I reserved seat 25A which was classified as a "preferred" seat and cost me $25 extra to book. Preferred seats are simply those seats in economy that are located more towards the front of the plane. They are called "preferred" seats because they pretty much are in a perfect location on the plane allowing for (I guess) faster deplaning or boarding...which doesn't really make sense but hey AA gets to make more money. Therefore because of their "preferable" location, they cost extra to book.
