Ameristar McDonnell Douglas DC-9-15RC [N782TW] startup taxi and Loud takeoff from CNO

Up close of an absolutely beautiful 57 Year Old DC9, yes, 57 Years old!! This is the oldest DC9 still flying in the world, carrying line number 79.

This December 1966 built bird started its life out with Continental Airlines, and later on in its life, it was converted to a freighter and has been with Ameristar Cargo since 2015.

Enjoy the JT8D7A startup sounds and the Loud full power takeoff, allowing some crackle to break through the pesky Stage III hush kits, of which you can see in the tail pipes at 3:23.
