In this video, I'll be having some fun manganese heptoxide and ammonium permanganate: two very reactive and unstable manganese compounds. Of course, every chemistry channel under the sun has covered manganese heptoxide, so I decided to do a few "new" reactions with it...including one that ends explosively!

WARNING: the compounds depicted in this video are VERY dangerous. Both ammonium permanganate and manganese heptoxide are unstable and can explode if mishandled. Manganese heptoxide is also highly corrosive and will readily ignite flammable materials (and even some nonflammable materials, for that matter). If you attempt anything in this video, use the utmost safety and common sense.
