Amrut Deshmukh is a progressive and pathbreaking farmer from Yavatmal in Vidarbha zone of Maharahtra. His innovative techniques of cotton farming now called the 'Amrut Pattern' have led to bumper yields of over 30 quintal per season. Farmers have the potential to become 'Lakhpati Kisans' using these methods, since cotton is widely grown in the state of Maharashtra.
