Amtrak Cascades is a passenger rail service in the Pacific Northwest, connecting the major cities of Eugene, Portland, Seattle, Everett, Bellingham, and Vancouver. In this video, we will see Amtrak Cascades trains in action in early 2024. The focus of this video will be on the portion of the route north of Seattle, which travels right along Puget Sound. Train equipment seen in this video includes both the Amtrak Horizon Fleet cars and the Talgo Series 8 train sets, owned by the state of Oregon.
