Shot between 3:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Action includes New Jersey Transit NEC locals and expresses (ALP46 / ALP46A / ALP45DP pushpulls w/ Comets or Multilevels, plenty of Arrow III consists), Amtrak Northeast Regionals, Acela Expresses, Keystones, and long distance service.
Several side notes I want to make. First, the New Brunswick Parking authority seems to have installed warning sirens at the exits to the parking deck that is located on the northeast side of the station. Every time a car exits, the sirens go of; so basically about every 30 seconds during the peak period. I could not have been more fucking annoyed, especially since it didn't seem like those sirens were in place the last time I was at New Brunswick a few weeks ago. Really ruins the clips I take. I tried my best to edit out the siren by cutting segments where trains were distant or not moving, but it still manages to bleed in here and there. Bear with me.
Secondly, the westbound rush got really screwed up today due to unforeseen signal problems @ NYP. Couple that on top of the 3track operation that Amtrak has going on between County Interlocking and HAM Interlocking, and you have a pile up of trains crawling west into New Brunswick due to the restrictive signal aspect just west of the station. Really ruins the prospect of getting high speed 40 mph flyins. To make up for this, I intend to hit up Edison tomorrow (6/22/16). Hopefully there aren't signal issues at Penn tomorrow. Otherwise, enjoy the action =)
