Today's locomotive tribute is a little bit different as we will be taking a look at the Genesis Series of locomotives.

For today's new video we will be looking at some great memories made by former Amtrak AMD103/P40DC unit 801.

The Genesis series locomotives were built by General Electric in the early 1990s for Amtrak to replace Amtrak's older Fleet of ElectroMotive Diesel F40PH and F40PHR locomotives.

GE P40DC unit 801 replaced EMD F40PHR unit 343 between 1993 and 2001.
