I heard an Amtrak Dash 8 was trailing on the Silver Meteor, and since I've never seen an Amtrak Dash 8 before, I decided to go to Kissimmee and see it in person. And there it is, trailing third of three with a Genesis leading and a Charger trailing second of three. Pretty diverse power today! I was informed they usually drop off the Dash 8s in either Sanford or Miami, but Amtrak decided to keep it on the consist for northbound, and I'm glad they did and I'm glad I took that chance.
