Amy Albertson is a 2013 Birthright Israel alumna whose life was forever impacted thanks to the 10day journey. She is of both Chinese and Jewish heritage and never felt she was Jewish enough while growing up. Despite not knowing many Jewish songs or prayers or having a Bat Mitzvah, Amy never stopped feeling a connection to her Jewish identity or Israel. Her Birthright Israel trip opened doors to explore what being Jewish meant and helped her feel comfortable in her identity. Amy says that Birthright Israel was the spark that lit her neverending love affair with Israel. Today, Amy is an influencer and activist who works tirelessly on behalf of the Jewish people and Israel.
