The sins of Bloodborne's hunters influence virtually everything we experience in the game. The defilement of Mother Kos' dead body and that of Queen Yharnam culminates with the playercharacter's liberation of the spirits of unborn children.

The prominence of infant dissection within Bloodborne's plot should inform our fundamental understanding of the game and its meaning. But, as we'll see in the final episode of the series, it allows us to reveal what is possibly Bloodborne's primary influence.
