One of my favorite parts about being a Florida who gets to go to all the Bike Week events every year is using the demo ride set ups at the Daytona Speedway to test out all the newest bikes! Both Harley and Indian set up a course around the roads surrounding the speedway to let riders take an unchaperoned spin on their flagship models. With the newly redesigned Road Glide and Street Glides premiering this year, I couldn't resist checking it out. I do this every year, and it was the first year that I've had to wait in line to try a model, people definitely are excited about these new models! It's no secret that I'm a fan of Indians, but in my opinion this new Road Glides are a great example of the benefit to consumers of Harley having some competition, and I think these bikes are a great step in the right direction. I was totally ready to think about switching teams if I really liked these bikes! I also got to check out a brand new Indian Sport Chief and a HD Lowrider S with Stage II!
