This beautiful looking AN12 of Cavok Air was on its way to the end of runway 09 at Geilenrkichen to operate a flight to Konya in Turkey. The aircraft is almost 60 years old but the design of the An12 is timeless especially with the great looking livery of this plane. It just looks like a fresh new plane which just got delivered.

The sound ot the AN12 is always quite amazing. It sound like a few thousand bees are heading towards you when the aircraft is taxing. Currently there are just a few AN12 left in the world and Cavok should be the biggest civilian operator of this aircraft. Motor Sich and UKL Aviation also operates two of these aircraft.
