Congratulations to TheraB Medical Inc., the winner of the Henry Ford Innovations Women Entrepreneurship Challenge.

TheraB Medical is a medical device company that promotes holistic jaundice treatment by keeping babies in the arms of mothers while receiving care.
The company is commercializing its first product, SnugLit – a portable, wearable phototherapy garment that allows maternalinfant bonding and breastfeeding without interrupting treatment. 

The Challenge stems from the knowledge that women are a tremendous untapped resource in the world economy,
yet less than 3% of venture capital supports femalefounded startups.

With generous support from the Ford Motor Company Fund, Henry Ford Innovations held this challenge focused on women entrepreneurs from across Southeast Michigan.
