He has brought authentic spiritual representations of sacred scriptures for over two decades. His work has been displayed worldwide, including at many holy Christian sites such as Capernaum, St. Peter's Basilica, and Fatima. He is best known for his "Homeless Jesus," which he created after he had a vision of witnessing homelessness in downtown Toronto. Schmalz conceives his pieces with a keen devotion to Jesus's life message. Rossier's documentary will provide a unique lens into Schmalz's creative process and his role as a Catholic artist, offering a perspective that is both enlightening and thoughtprovoking.
